About THE VILLAGE, Inc.

Seven years ago, Tailyn and her children made Las Vegas their home.  She had just become a single mother after her divorce and there were many challenges to overcome such as building a support system, finding work, childcare and understanding the culture in a new state. With God's help, the support of her community and the pursuit of an education, she became a Special Education Teacher.  As a Teacher, she was exposed to the reality our families face each and every day.  This created a passion in her to assist, connect and help restore our families as a whole by building a community that cares.    

In addition to teaching, Tailyn is also an author and aspiring BCBA who has invested the last 20 years mentoring young adults and families. She fell in love with serving the community through many different programs within our community. Tailyn believes that by working together, opening the lines of communication and building support systems throughout the valley, we can inspire and motivate one another to succeed in life.  Many say "it takes a village" and we are accepting the challenge in creating a village that will become a support system to many families.

Ms. Gutierrez has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice & Investigative Forensics, Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies, Master's Degree in Special Education and Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis.
